Nestled in idyllic North Yorkshire, Deer Shed is back with a jam packed lineup that's sure to have something for everyone. Having won The Festival of The Year at The Live Music Awards 2023, this years edition has a lot to live up to. Alongside the kayaking, wrestling, comedy and general fun for all the family, we think their 2024 music lineup is enough to stand out in its own right.

Championing a diverse range of acts across the bill, this years lineup offers a lot to get excited about - so here are our top 10:

10. Fat Dog

Fast building a reputation for their chaotic live show antics, Fat Dog offer all the wild fun and silly shenanigans that has a place on any festival lineup. While their shows may not be for the faint-hearted, their exceedingly fun live sets deliver big energy that's sure to get any crowd moving.

9. Baba Ali

If infectious beats and catchy basslines are your thing then polished Anglo- Americana duo Baba Ali are sure to get you up and moving. Commanding their crowds with their slick alt-pop, they bring a dramatic flair that's not to be missed.

8. Chalk

Following a tidal wave of critical claim, Northern Irish electro-punks Chalk make their way across the water to push boundaries, expectations and energy levels to the maximum. Building layers of noise and attitude over an ambient electronic base, they've created a winning algorithm for their fresh take on the genre which has seen them named the Best Live Act at the NI Music Prize 2023.

7. O.

If you're after something completely different, we can't recommend experimental duo O. highly enough. Armed with sax and drums, we can't wait for the pair to bring their big and bold anthems to Deer Shed 2024.

6. Tapir!

Festivals should be place to celebrate the weird and wonderful - and no act personifies this better than pagan-indie-folk band Tapir! Fast gaining a reputation on the south London circuit, the atmospheric outfit are out to expand their cult following - so we suggest you join in!

5. Home Counties

Having seen big changes over the last year or two, Home Counties have found their feet and their groove, with the addition of new member Lois Kelly on vocals perfectly complementing their dance-inducing hits.

4. Jessica Winter

Armed with catchy hooks and an abundance of attitude, Jessica Winter never fails to thrill with her high energy anthems. Bridging the gap between burlesque and alt-pop, Jessica Winter is a pop queen with a theatrical flair who shouldn't be missed!

3. Melin Melyn

Enter Melin Melyn. The most charming band you'll come across all summer. Promising a set jam packed with wit and whimsy, the polished Welsh collective are here to bring smiles to their audience. A must see this festival season.

2. The Itch

Indie sleaze is back - and The Itch have arrived just in time to deliver your electo-punk fix. Formed from the remnants of Regressive Left and an alternating cast of bandmates from the likes of Lazarus Kane and Opus Kink, this mighty supergroup bring infectious rhythms and shrewd lyricism that's sure to win you over.

1. CMAT

Irish pop-superstar CMAT is finally getting her flowers as she takes her place as Deer Shed's Sunday headliner. While her impressive vocals speak for themselves, CMAT is undoubtably one of the most fun performers out there at the moment - so expect fun and theatrics to the highest degree as she delivers non-stop country infused pop hits.
